Raymundo David Lopez (El Rey), passed away on April 24, 2016.
Mia Lopez pays homage to her father as a man who continually filled her with wisdom, culture, and his love of life. Mr. Raymundo was a hardworking man dedicated to family, strong in his opinions and convictions, colorful in his laughter, and rich in heritage. He was given a remarkable name chosen by her abuelitos (grandparents) in remembrance of El Dia de Los Tres Reyes (The Day of The Three Kings) celebrated on January 6 to honor the adoration of baby Jesus by the Three Wise Men (Los Tres Reyes Magos) bearing gifts. This special day also closes the Christmas season's festivities and marks a time when family and friends celebrate, sharing moments and gifts with their most cherished loved ones.
Founder's Note
"It was very important that we celebrate the legacy of my father, Raymundo David Lopez with the wine; 1666. The name of the wine pays homage to his birth date, January 6,1966. This day will forever be ingrained in my family's hearts and our destinies will forever be cemented through generations of Lopez. So we honor this new beginning, in homage to Raymundo David Lopez, continuing his legacy with the Lopez name and embarking upon a new journey based on faith, honor, and love of family."
ANGELS AMONG US
My father was captivated with the idea of higher beings and he would always say to me “Mija... los angelitos siempre están”, “Dear...the angels are always there”, were words he would always say to let me know that there are higher beings that cover and protect us all and can come in any shape, form, and color. My angel now has a name. May he protect and guide me on this new journey.
